Effective January 1, 2011, the late fee for LCSW renewals is $200. This fee will be applied if a renewal is is postmarked after the renewal date (the last day of your birth month) and before the expiration date (30 days after the last day of your birth month). Renewals postmarked after the expiration date will not be renewed.

As of January 1, 2011, individuals may not practice clinical social work unless the person is licensed or certified by the Board, with few exceptions.

As of January 1, 2011, new Laws and Statutes require anyone using the title "Social Worker" be licensed or certified with the Board of Licensed Social Workers.
