The Oregon Board of Accountancy is comprised of seven Board members who are appointed by the Governor. Four Board members are Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) who have been engaged in public accounting practice in Oregon for at least five years. One Board member is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) employed in private industry, government or education in Oregon for at least five years. One Board member is a Public Accountant (PA) engaged in public accounting practice in Oregon for at least five years and one member is of the general public.
