The Prevailing Wage Advisory Committee was legislatively established in 2003. The stated purpose of the committee is to assist the commissioner in the administration of the Prevailing Wage Rate Law. (ORS 279C.820)
Advisory committee members are appointed by the Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries. Members include representatives from management and labor in the building and construction industry who perform work on public works contracts and other interested parties.
There are currently no vacancies on the committee, but if you are interested in serving on the Prevailing Wage Advisory Committee in the future, you may submit a brief letter summarizing your background and interest in the committee to:
