Continuing Education (CE) Course Providers
The CCB must approve all the organizations offering continuing education to Oregon's residential contractors as well as the individual classes. Check the Course Catalog
to find approved courses.
The CCB accepts credits from accredited colleges and universities if:
- The courses pertain to your business practices or your trade (Excel, accounting, computer skills, marketing, carpentry, etc.)
- Courses are at least an hour in length.
- You provide the CCB with a course completion certificate or transcript that includes the name of the course, when you completed the course and its length.
include your local community college and Small Business Development Center as well as the Northwest College of Construction.
The CCB accepts course completion certificates from government agencies with in the U.S. For example, Oregon OSHA, the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries and the Oregon Department of Transportation are among the many agencies that offer courses relevant to contractors.
