Want to learn how to avoid hassles during a residential building, remodeling or repair project? Visit the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) booth at the Linn County Home Show February 4-6 at the Linn County Fair and Expo Center.
A representative from the CCB will share tips on selecting and working with a contractor, avoiding risky home improvement shortcuts, and resolving construction related disputes. Homeowners visiting the booth can pick up free information booklets.
The CCB is a state agency licensing more than 40,000 contractors. Anyone you pay to repair, improve or build a home must be licensed by the CCB. To verify a contractor’s license, insurance and claims history visit www.ccb.state.or.us or call 503-378-4621.
