- Asset Forfeiture in Oregon: This page provides a brief historical background on asset forfeiture. It also summarizes the civil asset forfeiture statute (ORS 475A) as it existed before passage of Ballot Measure 3. The latter required a property owner to be convicted of a crime before their property could be forfeited. The review includes material extracted from the 1999 AFOAC Annual Report.
