Abstract: Polygons delineating Community Wildlfire Protection Plan Wildland-Urban Interface boundaries within Oregon. The Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) is an area within or adjacent to an at-risk community identified in a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). Some Community Wildfire Protection Plans delineate WUI boundaries (CWPP WUI). The Wildland-Urban Interface is the area where structures or human improvement meet or intermingle with wildland vegetation, which includes timber, grassland and brush fields. Communities with wildland fire risk (and their boundaries) are identified by the state through the risk assessment process or during development of Community Wildfire Protection Plans.
