Oregon E-Government provides E-Commerce services to state agencies. The Oregon transaction payment engine (TPE) option enables agencies to use an efficient internet payment solution while following statewide polices and procedures. The E-Government team work together with the Office of the State Treasurer to help agencies select the best option for their business needs.
The Transaction Processing Engine (TPE) is a full-fledged, enterprise electronic transaction processing and management system. It sits at the heart of all of enterprise portals to process, report, and disburse payments from all channels, including web, counter, IVR, and mobile. As TPE processes all payment types, it is a central repository for all transactions. Designed to be implemented in a “plug-and-play” manner, TPE not only accelerates the time to bring online services to market, but also adds huge efficiencies around financial reconciliation, merchant services management, and customer service.
