What is internOregon?

At internOregon we facilitate and promote the placement of interns throughout Oregon state government. This program serves as a valuable asset to both the state of Oregon as an employer and to students as it provides real-world work experience in conjunction with obtaining higher education goals. Interns selected for the program gain relevant experience and advance both their career and academic aspirations. Sponsoring agencies provide leadership and support to a student while they further or complete a meaningful internship project. For more information regarding being an intern or a sponsor please review the information provided on this website.

Update for 2009 Program

While we continue to seek out agency sponsorships to host interns for the 2009 Summer program, due to the current economic situation and budget shortfalls, we are not receiving as many sponsors as we have in the past. As a result, we anticipate that we will place considerably fewer interns this program year.  Our commitment to the program remains steadfast and we encourage you to continue to check this web site for further updates.
