Rules Under Public Comment
 
Division 10 -- Policy and Definitions
 
OEBB recently filed an amended version of Division 10 Oregon Administrative Rules and a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking with the Secretary of State’s office.
 
Division 10 establishes definitions for “actuarial value,” “comparable cost,” and “comparable plan design” and "documented district policies." A public hearing is scheduled for May 23, 2008. The hearing will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. at OEBB’s offices at:

Division 40 -- Enrollment
 
OEBB recently filed the Oregon Administrative Rules 111-040-0001—111-040-0045 and a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking with the Secretary of State’s office.
 
The rules establishes OEBB’s policies regarding members’ enrollment in benefit plans. A public hearing is scheduled for June 16, 2008. The hearing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. at OEBB’s offices at:

Division 60 -- Information Requirements and Requests
 
OAR 111-060-0001 was filed as a proposed rule on May 5, 2008. The rule establishes Oregon Educators Benefit Board’s policy for requesting information from members.
 
A public hearing on OAR 111-040-0001 - 0045 and 111-060-0001 will be held on June 16, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Oregon Educators Benefit Board, 1225 Ferry Street SE, Salem, Oregon. The last date for public comment is 5:00 p.m. on June 27, 2008.
