Join the Eat Well. End Hunger Challenge

Do your neighbors a favor by participating in Eat Well. End Hunger.  – the 2014 PEBB Food Drive Challenge.
For every employee who participates in the Eat Well. End Hunger challenge, the charitable arms of our health plans will donate $1 to the Oregon Food Bank (Kaiser to $5,000, Providence to $10,000) as part of the Governor's State Employees Food Drive. These dollars will supply food for hungry people in our communities.

Although we’ve all heard it before, it’s worth repeating: Healthy eating can make a positive difference in your life. This year’s friendly challenge, Eat Well. End Hunger, encourages you to spend a few minutes each week in February learning new ways to eat healthy.
Plus, participating in the Eat Well. End Hunger challenge counts as a 2014 HEM Health Action.

Here’s how the Eat Well; End Hunger challenge works.
Enter the challenge by signing up here.

During the four-week Eat Well. End Hunger challenge, you’ll receive friendly, informative emails from PEBB and your health plan that offer new ideas around healthy eating with topics like these:
·         Getting others engaged – helping our friends and co-workers eat well, too
·         Mood and food – How emotions affect what, when and how much we eat
·         Facts on health and food – what science has to say about nutrition and health
·         Live long and prosper – health plan resources on living well with the right food choices
At the close of the Eat Well. End Hunger challenge, you’ll be asked to complete a short online survey.
That’s it. A bit of your time, attention and feedback can help you to have a more healthful life and end hunger in our communities – so we’re healthier, together.
