2013 Spring Regional Meetings Report Now Available
We have gathered the feedback from more than 1,100 people who participated in the 2013 Spring Regional meetings. Discussion groups and online comments were robust. It is clear that when given the opportunity to provide feedback about health care benefits, PEBB members will engage.Many thanks to everyone who took the time to attend a meeting, respond online or email. The Board will use your input to help set priorities for health benefits in 2015. Our mission is to ensure better health and better care at a price we can all afford.

Gym Incentive Starts This October
Members and covered spouses/domestic partners can get $15/month reimbursement toward gym membership beginning October. More to come on this reimbursement program soon. In the meantime, you have choices for your 2013 HEM health actions.
 
Kaiser Members Succeed During Food Drive!
More than 12 percent of PEBB Kaiser members raised funds for the local food bank when they met the Kaiser challenge to increase their physical activity. Now they're talking about their success.


 
Providence Members Start Moving to Stop Hunger!
Providence members raised $5,338 dollars for the food bank during the Governor's State Employees' Food Drive by becoming physically active. This counts as one of their 2013 HEM health actions.

Pre-Medicare Coverage for PEBB Retirees
PEBB offers Pre-Medicare retiree coverage. But you can also consider COBRA, PERS Health, or Cover Oregon -the Oregon health insurance exchange with plans that begin Jan. 1, 2014.

ODS Becoming Moda Health
ODS, the administrator for PEBB's self-insured dental plans, is changing its name to Moda Health. Members will receive a brochure explaining the new name this spring. it may take a year to complete the transition. We'll remind you before, during and after Open Enrollment to avoid confusion.
