Department of Administrative Services

The Office of the Chief Operating Officer (also known as the DAS Director's Office) manages all executive branch agencies; provides governmental and external communications; conducts economic analysis; supports statewide efforts to improve state government; and coordinates legislative activities.

In her role as State COO and DAS Director, Katy Coba has five areas of emphasis: (1) equity, (2) transparency and accountability, (3) leadership development, (4) customer service and excellence in government, and (5) "Ambassador of Public Service."
