ORPIN Update
The
following is an update on the progress of the ORPIN Phase Seven
Feasibility Study:
Sierra
Systems, with representation from State Procurement Office (SPO) and State
Controller's Division, conducted information gather sessions from various state
agency staff regarding:
* ADPICS-related business processes;
* How agencies use ADPICS and their various internal
systems to track
purchases
with their agencies, and
* Recommendations for improvement of these processes.
Sierra
Systems has used this information to prepare the Phase Seven Feasibility
Study to provide the following:
* development recommendations,
* cost estimates,
* resource impacts,
* return on investment/prioritizations,
* and deployment schedules.
SPO has
completed its initial review of the draft Feasibility Study and is conducting
discussions with the Contractor to outline necessary changes. SPO will
then review the study with SCD and provide further edits. After all
internal reviews are complete, an Executive Summary and the Feasibility Study
will be sent to the ORPIN Advisory Group.
SPO
and the Contractor have developed a schedule to complete the Feasibility Study
review as quickly as reasonably possible.
SPO
and SCD plan to provide the Executive Summary and Feasibility Study for agency
review within the new few weeks.
