The State Controller’s Division has prepared this site to show our progress in changing our communications to language that is clear, simple and concise in support of the new Plain Language law (ORS 183.750 ).

It contains useful links and resources to help your staff learn about plain language. DAS Plan for Easy Reading Style Guide: Our DAS one-page style guide (pdf) is online. It offers quick tips for putting plain language into everyday.
