| File Transfer Services - FTP/SFTP |

| Description |
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a language used to facilitate sharing files by transferring them from one computer to another. To a Web Browser, FTP is a server that holds files for upload and download. On the IBM mainframe, FTP refers to transferring files between a mainframe TSO session or batch job and another mainframe host.
SFTP stands for Secure File Transfer Protocol. As the name implies, this form of FTP has built-in security features.
