Purpose
The CNIC Peer Communications Group was chartered in 2005 by the CNIC Steering Committee to serve as a point of contact within each of the 12 CNIC agencies for dissemination of project information. The group also assisted with project rumor control (reporting rumors and distributing accurate information), and development and dissemination of FAQs.
 
The group fulfilled its charter in early 2006.
