Overview
The CNIC Steering Committee is comprised of chief information officers (CIOs) of the CNIC participating agencies, three additional state agencies, and one non-voting member from the Oregon Association of Government Information Technology Managers (OAGITM).  The committee works as a supporting organization to the CNIC Governing Board.  The chair of the committee is Ben Berry, Chief Information Officer, Department of Transportation.
 
The group works closely with the CNIC Project Office and State Data Center administrator.  Assignments include:
  • Detailed implementation plan validation
  • Functions in-out of scope
  • Staff in-out of scope
  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) model.
