Reciprocal law applies to political subdivisions for purchases of personal property. In awarding a contract, the Division of Purchasing or agency may give up to 10% preference to responsive bidder who has certified that the products or materials contain at least the minimum percentage of recycled content and post consumer recovered material and up to an additional 5% price preference to a responsible bidder who has certified that the products or materials are made or materials recovered in this state.
