Most Agencies to Close on Nov. 27, 2009Due to state budget reductions, most state offices will close on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, and the affected employees must take mandatory unpaid furloughs on that day. These same offices will re-open on Monday, Nov. 30.

Overview
Oregon state government wants to ensure it stays open to conduct the citizens' business. Occasionally, though, bad weather or other conditions force the state to close offices. See state policy 60.015.01 (pdf) for details on the decision-making process to close a state office.
