Annual Performance Measures
The Director’s Office manages all executive branch agencies; provides governmental and external communications; conducts internal audits; coordinates legislative activities; leads the department's transformation efforts; and provides analysis of the economy, revenue and population (including corrections populations).

| Programs |

Economic Analysis, Office of
The Office of Economic Analysis provides objective forecasts of the state's economy, revenue, population, corrections population, and Youth Authority population. These forecasts are used by the Governor, the Legislature, state agencies and the public.
Internal Audit
The Internal Audit function is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the operations of the agency. The Internal Audit function focuses on fiscal accountability and performance, and provides management with appraisals, analyses, and recommendations concerning the activities reviewed.
Legislative Coordination
Legislative coordination activities include providing guidance and training for agency staff that regularly work with the Governor’s Office and Legislature.
Statewide Audit Advisory Committee
The Statewide Audit Advisory Committee was created to promote excellence and professional, standards-based internal auditing services in state government. The committee serves in an advisory capacity to the director of the Department of Administrative Services.
Other
Organizations can achieve enhanced performance and accountability when they put in place the proper tools and processes to manage for results. The Director's Office coordinates the department’s agency-wide efforts to manage more efficiently and effectively.
