CHIEF OF STAFF
HIRING INFORMATION
- Primary staff advisor to the Speaker and support to Leadership Team
- Oversees management and administration of the Speaker’s office
- Primary liaison with other leadership offices and Governor’s office
- Staff support for Speaker’s management responsibilities for House and Assembly
- Leads staff team in accomplishing legislative and communications goals of Speaker
- Staffs Speaker on legislative issues as follows: Budget, legislation affecting the Legislative Branch, and ethics
- Directs workload of Speaker’s Office Legislative Assistant
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Significant experience working in the Oregon Legislative process.
- Experience in supervision and budget management.
