GENERAL INFORMATION
This position is with the Oregon Real Estate Agency in Salem, Oregon.
The recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified candidates to fill one position full time with the Oregon Real Estate Agency.

TO QUALIFY
Your PD 100 application form will be reviewed to verify that you meet the qualifications stated in this section. To receive credit, your application form must clearly show that you have:
- Three years of experience performing public contact and/or customer service duties comparable to the work of a Public service Representative.
- At least two years of this experience must include dealing with the public in-person or by phone providing information about services and programs; explaining rules, programs, and procedures; and/or providing assistance, explaining requirements, and gaining compliance.
- Preference may be given for experience working with attorneys and legal documents.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
- Demonstrated experience explaining administrative rules, statutes, policies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience working with legal documents and attorneys
- Demonstrated experience reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness
- Ability to manage multiple and rapidly changing priorities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of this position is to provide coordination and support of the Land Development program, which includes:
- Performing the initial processing, review, evaluation and pre-approval for legal documents and registrations for compliance with statutes and land development filing requirements
- Providing specialized and technical information and services to attorneys, developers, surveyors, real estate licensees and the public relating to the Land Development programs
- Processing and reviewing completed forms and land development filings
- Researching, analyzing and interpreting laws, rules, policies and procedures relating to land development requirements and for resolving non-compliance issues
