Armed with customer and employee feedback and the recommendations of HB 5002, the Department of Administrative Services began in June 2011 to implement Mass Ingenuity’s NOW Management System^®. 

The resulting Fundamentals Management Map represents DAS' strategic plan. Overarching the core processes in the map are DAS's mission, vision and organizational values, as well as outcome goals and guiding strategies. The "bottom line" of the map includes measurements, the yardsticks that process owners will use on a quarterly basis to see if goals are achieved.
