Oregon WC Insurance Plan - (Assigned Risk Pool):
Direct or agent. Call 800-622-4123. Highest average rates. Allows 25 percent estimated annual premium down, and surety bond for remainder. Contact (CBIC) Contractors Bonding Insurance Company, 800-926-2242. Ask for Tom Dyment for the name of an agent, to write the bond. Bond costs vary depending on amount. (25% must be at least equal to minimum premium for business´s class.) They will take your application over the phone if you request them to.
*Republic Insurance:
Writes exclusively through independent agents. Minimum premiums rage from $1,000 up to $3,500.
