The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) is a progressive business regulatory state agency dedicated to the mission of protecting consumers and workers in the State of Oregon. The Building Codes Division, part of DCBS, adopts and enforces statewide building codes relating to the construction, reconstruction, alteration and repair of buildings and other structures and the installation of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical devices and equipment.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain BCD’s internal and external web sites. Working with Executive Management, this position insures up-to-date information and standards are maintained on the division’s web sites.
Additionally, this person provides hardware and software support and assistance, analyzes and determines types of hardware and/or software needed to perform various functions within the division.
INTERESTED? Here’s What You Need:
The successful candidate will at a minimum have:
- a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in computer science; OR
- an associate degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 30 quarter (20 semester) computer science credits AND one year of information systems experience in website management; OR
- three years of information systems experience in website management.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
- NOTE: Employment will be contingent upon the passing of a fingerprint-based criminal background check. Conviction of a crime will not automatically disqualify an individual from being considered for employment.
- Some instate travel to field offices, during potentially inclement weather, occasional overnight stays.
- Attends meetings and may be required to work overtime.
