A Call to Action
Pollution Prevention Week

people_on_beachNational Pollution Prevention Week is September 17-23, 2007. Gov. Ted Kugolonski recently signed a proclamation recognizing the week in Oregon.

Pollution Prevention Week originated in California in 1992 and gained widespread popularity in 1995 when it became a national effort.

Celebrated during the third week of September each year, National Pollution Prevention Week is an opportunity for individuals, business and government to join forces for a common cause.
