Cleaner Air Oregon

On April 6, 2016, Governor Kate Brown announced the launch of Cleaner Air Oregon, a new initiative to reform industrial air toxics regulations and align them with public health. DEQ and OHA formed a Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) representing a broad group of stakeholders to assist in the rulemaking process.  For a complete list of RAC members please see the Advisory Committee Roster
The RAC provided input to DEQ and OHA in drafting the rules, taking into consideration policy recommendations from a technical workgroup (an appointed group made up of science, health and air toxics regulation experts), information received from public policy forums, and feedback from the groups they represent.
