SN​AP Time Limits for ABAWDs in Seven Oregon Counties

Benton, Lane, Marion and Yamhill County SNAP participants who don’t meet new Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) requirements may lose food benefits starting April 1, 2018.

Clackamas County SNAP participants who don’t meet new Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) requirements may lose food benefits starting April 1, 2017.

Multnomah and Washington County SNAP participants who don’t meet new Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) requirements may lose food benefits after April 1, 2016.

If you lose benefits after April 1 because you didn’t meet ABAWD requirements, please call DHS right away to learn what you need to do to restart benefits. If you live in:
