Governor’s Commission on Senior Services (GCSS)
The Governor's Commission on Senior Services is an official state commission made up of volunteers appointed by the governor and two legislators, one from the House and one from the Senate. The Commission works to further the interests of Oregon’s seniors.
Medicaid Long-Term Care and Quality Reimbursement Advisory Council
MLTCQRAC is directed to advise the Department of Human Services or the Oregon Health Authority on changes or modifications to the Medicaid reimbursement system and the adverse and positive effects of the changes or modifications on the quality of long term care and community-based services and reimbursement for long term care and community-based services.
HB 2547 Housing with Services Task Force
The HB 2547 Housing with Services Task Force is an official task force established from the 2015 Legislative session. The Task Force consist of 4 Legislators and 12 additional members.
Oregon Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (ODHHS) Advisory Committee
The ODHHS Advisory Committee assists the Oregon Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Program (ODHHSP) by providing information and expertise on issues affecting individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Oregon Disabilities Commission (ODC)
The Oregon Disabilities Commission is charged by state statute to advise the Department of Human Services, the Governor, the Legislative Assembly and appropriate state agency Administrators on issues related to achieving the full economic, social, legal and political equity of individuals with disabilities. ODC also acts as a coordinating link between and among public and private organizations services individuals with disabilities.
Oregon Home Care Commission (OHCC)
The Home Care Commission is responsible for ensuring the quality of home care services that are funded by the Department of Human Services for seniors and people with disabilities.
Oregon State Rehabilitation Council (SRC)
The Oregon State Rehabilitation Council is a group of 15-25 consumers, advocates, business and community representatives, appointed by Oregon's Governor to advise the Department of Human Services' (DHS') Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (OVRS, formerly VRD) in the development, implementation and review of rehabilitation service delivery for Oregonians with disabilities.
State Independent Living Council
The State Independent Living Council (SILC) is a Governor appointed body, offering people with disabilities control over the design of Oregon's Independent Living program services.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman
The Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman is an independent state agency that serves long-term care facility residents through complaint investigation, resolution and advocacy for improvement in resident care. The Long-Term Care Ombudsman can be reached at toll-free at 800-522-2602.
