2017-18 Homecare Worker Payroll Calendars
There are two payroll calendars available to assist you in understanding when to submit your voucher/timesheet and when to expect your paycheck. One looks like a monthly calendar and the other looks like a list. Choose the calendar that you prefer.
How long does it take to receive your check?
It takes about one to three business day from the payment process date, depending on mail service. Direct deposits will be available three business days after the pay process date. HCWs should check with their financial institutions to find out when their direct deposit will be processed.
Change in Service Payment Timeline and Processing
Beginning Sunday, October 1, 2017, service authorization periods (i.e., pay periods) will change to every 14 days (two weeks). Each week will begin on a Sunday and end on a Saturday. This will make it easier for you and your consumer-employers to create and follow a weekly schedule and track your time. It will also mean that your payments will process on the same schedule every pay period. Please use the new payroll calendar to see when vouchers are due and payment process dates.

HCW Paid Time Off Information
Hourly Homecare Worker Paid Time-Off Materials
You will be eligible for Paid Time-Off (PTO) benefits if you meet the following requirements:
- You are a Homecare Worker covered under the Oregon Home Care Commission-SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement; and
- You are an hourly homecare worker covered under the CBA and you work 80 hours or more during the following months:
You must complete and return a Form W-9 to the Trust Administration Office.
- March, April, or May for July 1 eligibility
- October, November or December for February 1 eligibility
PTO benefits for homecare workers are paid for through the Oregon Workers Supplemental Trust. All materials that you need to request PTO are available at https://www.orhomecaretrust.org/2017-resources/#pto
