The following resource will assist both state and community partners identify federal funding to develop capacity and enhance service delivery. The funding announcements will be updated on a weekly basis from the Grants.gov Web page: a national clearinghouse for federal grant opportunities. Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration 

Headlines, research and features specific to the field of addictions and mental health.

A unified site for interaction between grant applicants and US federal agencies. For grant opportunities related to ARRA, find the Recovery Act Opportunities option.

 

National Direct Service Workforce Resource Center 

This collection of resources contains information on the range of funding sources available to State Medicaid agencies and other agencies and stakeholders to support the development of a high quality direct service labor force.

 

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention 

Provides national leadership, coordination and resources to prevent and respond to juvenile delinquency and victimization.

 

The National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism 

Supports and conducts biomedical and behavioral research on the causes, consequences, treatment and prevention of alcoholism.
