Oregon Project Management Training and Certification Program
Oregon conducts a certification program in project management. The Oregon Project
Management Certification Program (OPMCP) is designed to develop leaders in the
project management field. This program is offered through the Department of
Administrative Services, (DAS) to all state and local employees. The DAS Information
Resources Management Division, other state agencies and Chemeketa Community
College have combined efforts to develop this comprehensive certification program.
With the complexity of work increasing, our time to complete projects decreasing,
and public expectations rising, projects are and will be key to our future success.
As of November 2003 Oregon has over 415 project management associates and over
60 Project Management Professionals.
