RESOLUTION

DHS has experienced technical difficulties with creation of electronic remittance advices (835) for last week's processing. There is no known resolution date at this time. Once this is known a follow up alert will be sent. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience. 

 2/9/09 - 9:35 a.m.

DHS has experienced technical difficulties with the delivery of some trading partners' 835 remittance advices for week ending 2/6/09. DHS will deliver these 835s no later than Monday, 2/16/09.

Wednesday, 1/7/09

DHS is experiencing transmissions being rejected due to an invalid date stamp ("Cannot have a future date"). This appears to happen when a trading partner sends a transaction shortly after midnight from time zones east of the Pacific Time Zone.

In these cases, the transmission date may be accurate for the trading partner's time zone, but is read as a future date when it arrives at the DHS system. Until this issue is resolved, only send transactions when your transmission date in your time zone is the same as the Pacific Time Zone date.

The technical issues delaying the delivery of many 835s from the 5/2/09 weekend run have been corrected; all 835s have been delivered to their respective mailboxes.
