Classroom training - Fall 2009 Provider Web Portal training sessions

These one-day sessions will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Portland, Eastern Oregon and other locations, beginning 10/26/09 and ending 12/30/09. For more information and to learn how to register, read this announcement (PDF).

Web-based training

You can take the Web-based eCourse anytime from your own computer. This self-paced course provides a walkthrough of all the functions of the Provider Web Portal located at https://www.or-medicaid.gov. You will need Internet Explorer 6 and the Adobe Flash Player to view this training.

• Sign into the DHS Learning Center, click "Courses and Registration," then "Find a Course and Register," then search for course number C00818.
• Click on the link that reads, "MMIS provider eCourse," scroll down, and click the "Take Course" button, then click "Index SCO Title."
• If the course does not run, make sure you are using Internet Explorer 6 and the Adobe Flash Player. Also try these eCourse quick fixes (PDF).

Self-help tutorials

Use these self-paced tutorials to learn about doing business as a health care provider with DHS.

Signing up with the DHS Learning Center at https://dhslearn.hr.state.or.us and registering for classes over the Web is quick and easy - All you need is Web access to sign in and an e-mail address to receive automatic e-mail confirmations from DHS about your training registration.
