This employment opportunity is with the Public Health Division, which is part of the Department of Human Services (DHS). There is one full time position located in the Office of Family Health located in PORTLAND. A union represents this position. This recruitment announcement will be used to establish a list of qualified candidates to fill the current vacancies and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur. QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures, and one year experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports. OR Four years of research experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports. AND College-level course work in advanced statistics or quantitative analysis such as multiple regression, factor analysis, analyses of variance and discriminate analysis. A copy of your transcripts only if you are using the degree to qualify. You must clearly mark the six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures in order to receive credit. NO CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN IF THE COURSES ARE NOT CLEARLY MARKED. Please give examples of your experience in developing survey, interview and focus group data collection tools and implementation protocols. Describe your experience with each of the following types of evaluation: formative evaluation, needs assessment, process evaluation, and outcome evaluation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The purpose of this position is to provide assessment, data collection, analysis and program evaluation support to Maternal and Child Health (MCH) programs, including, but not limited to the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI), Child Care Health Consultation (CCHC), Babies First!, Oregon Mothers Care (OMC) and Maternity Case Management (MCM). This position is a part of a team of Research Analysts providing services to MCH programs, by working closely with program and information services staff. Major duties include:
