QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures, AND one year experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports; (A copy of your transcripts must be attached and submitted prior to the closing date to get credit)
OR
Four years of research experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports.
Preference may be given to applicants with a Master's degree in any discipline that includes six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures. (A copy of your transcripts must be attached and submitted prior to the closing date to get credit)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a professional level position within the Office for Oregon Health Policy & Research in the Directors Office of the Oregon Health Authority. This position will lead the design, collection and analysis of the evaluation of the Healthy Kid’s program. This position will be responsible for design, implementation of survey instruments, defining data collection processes and procedures through the coordination with a third party vendor, and coordination and collection from various state agencies data systems. The position will perform statistical analysis and appropriate risk adjustment, interpret results, develop and write descriptive technical, and analytical documents. This position will also assist in the analysis and reporting of major health care trends in Oregon, developing and writing descriptive, analytical and technical analysis of trends of health care cost, quality and access.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel. You must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. If not, you must be able to provide an alternate method of transportation.

The Office of Oregon Health Policy & Research (OHPR) is the State’s central location for coordinating data collection, analysis and dissemination of results on health care issues of critical importance to the state. Units within OHPR include the Health Services Commission, charged with creating and maintaining the integrated list of condition and services and establishing benchmark rates for the Oregon Health Plan, as well as the Healthy Oregon Plan; and the Health Resource Commission, which is responsible for comparative effectiveness review for the Oregon Health Plan and the Healthy Oregon Plan.
