This employment opportunity is with the Division of Medical Assistance Programs (DMAP)/Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) Operations and Maintenance, which is part of the Department of Human Services (DHS). There is one full-time opening located in Salem. This position is represented by a union.
This recruitment announcement will be used to establish a list of qualified candidates to fill the current vacancy and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must be a current employee (this includes regular status, trial service and limited duration employees) with the Department of Human Services to apply for this position.
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree related to human services; AND two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work related to a human services program.
OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work related to a human services program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for processing the changes to DHS business functions related to Medicaid. As a member of the MMIS Business Support Unit (BSU), support efforts with contractors and stakeholders to operate and maintain the OR MMIS. Support the DHS decision making process for changes to the OR MMIS including the detailed requirements, design, testing, data conversion, training and business process improvements.
The OR MMIS is Oregon's largest information system. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating a team in the operations and maintenance and the identification of business processes for the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). This position will be responsible for support the certification task for the OR MMIS. Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel required. Occasional evening and weekend work required. You must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. If not, you must be able to provide an alternate method of transportation.
