When: Thursday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Where: Cornerstone room, Building 53, 4070 Winema Place, N.E., Salem. Agenda: Commission members will hear public testimony and receive reports about the status of the Oregon Department of Human Services budget; the work of the committee reviewing qualifications for home-care workers; and a group working on a registry of home-care workers. In executive session under ORS 192.660(1)(d), commissioners will hear a report from an Oregon Department of Administrative Services labor-relations representative about the status of mediation with the union representing home-care workers. The nine-member Home Care Commission, authorized by voters in November 2000, is charged with improving care to Oregon seniors and people with disabilities. |
