Governor to launch "Network of Care" comprehensive Web site for seniors

 


 

Who: Governor Ted Kulongoski and representatives of the Department
of Human Services and the Oregon Association of Area Agencies on Aging and Disabilities

 

What: Official launch of Oregon's first-ever comprehensive Web-based directory of services for seniors and people with disabilities. The site will help all Oregonians find answers to questions about adult care facilities, Alzheimer's, end-of-life care, health care, care giving, nutrition, home repair, recreation, transportation and much more. The site represents the first time that a comprehensive list of services for seniors has been available at one location. The event will mark the posting of the new Web site on the Internet and include a demonstration that walks people through the Web site. The Web site is: www.oregon.networkofcare.org.

 

When: Wednesday, October 26, 9 a.m.
