Pain Management Commission to meet Nov. 9 in Salem




What: Public meeting of the state Pain Management Commission


When: Nov. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Where: Barbara Roberts Human Services Building, 500 Summer St. N.E., Salem; Room 137 A-B


Agenda: Discussion items will include multiple updates, Oregon Administrative Rule development and review, fund raising and survey project. The full agenda is available on the Pain Management Commission's Web site, http://www.oregon.gov/DHS/pain/pmc_schedule.shtml


Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed for individuals requesting assistive hearing devices, sign language interpreters or large-print materials. Individuals needing these types of accommodations are asked to call DHS at 503-945-7009 at least 48 hours before the meeting.

 

The Pain Management Commission works to improve the services and treatment of pain through education, research and policy. The commission represents Oregon patients' concerns on issues of pain management to the Governor and Oregon Legislature.
