Treatment and Quality of Life Workgroup Meeting Agendas and Minutes

 

What is the purpose of the Treatment and Survivorship Workgroup?

  • Provide a forum to discuss key issues, resources and concerns related to timely access to quality cancer services
  • Continue to assess Oregon's unique resources for survivors
  • Promote collaborative activities and resources that address mutual goals of members organizations

Treatment Goal:  Ensure that all Oregonians have access to quality cancer treatment and information services that are culturally and individually appropriate by age, financial situation and geographic location.

 

Survivorship Goal:  Improve cancer survivors' quality of life through services that address the physical, emotional, social and vocational challenges of survivorship.

 

Objectives: Increase the proportion of Oregon cancer patients who are treated according to established national guidelines.
