Refresher Training

October 26, 2009

Drug Lab Cleanup Refresher Training has been scheduled for October 26, 2009.  

The training will take place at the Portland State Office Building located at 800 NE Oregon Street, Room 1A.  Training will start at 8 AM and end at 4 PM. 

The cost for this training is $100 per person.  

Deadline for registration is October 12, 2009 

In order to complete the registration process please submit:

1. Completed registration form

                   Fill in the registration form electronically using Microsoft Word 

                                                OR

                   Print the registration form and fill in by hand (pdf) 

2. Check or money order payable to "Department of Human Services"
3. Proof of current HAZPOWER certification for each participant

FROM the SOUTH:

Take I-5 North to Exit 302-A: Rose Quarter/Lloyd Center.  Off the exit ramp take a right onto NE Weidler Street and stay in the far right lane.  At the first light, Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK), turn right.  Get into the far left lane and go 8 blocks to NE Oregon Street.  Take a left and go 3 blocks to 7^th Avenue.  The Portland State Office Building is immediately on the right with an adjacent metered parking lot.

FROM the NORTH:

Take I-5 South to Exit 302-A: Rose Quarter/Lloyd Center.  Cross Broadway, and, at the second light, take a left onto NE Weidler Street.  At the first light, NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK), turn right.  Get into the far left lane and go 8 blocks to NE Oregon Street.  Take a left and go 3 blocks to 7^th Avenue.  The Portland State Office Building is immediately on the right with an adjacent metered parking lot.

FROM the EAST (Gresham):

Take I-84 to Exit 1: NE Lloyd Avenue and get into the middle lane.  Go through two lights to NE 7^th Avenue (NOTE: 7th Avenue immediately follows 9th Avenue) and turn right.  Proceed one block up to NE Oregon Street and turn right.  The Portland State Office Building is immediately on the right with an adjacent metered parking lot.

FROM the WEST (Beaverton):

Take Highway 26 (Sunset Highway) and follow signs for Seattle and I-405 North.  Cross the Willamette River on the Fremont Bridge.  Once on the bridge, get in the far left lane and take the exit for The Dalles.  This will put you on I‑5 South.  Once on I‑5, stay in the right lane and take the first exit, 302‑A: Rose Quarter/Lloyd Center.  At the second light take a left onto NE Weidler Street.  At the first light, NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK), turn right.  Get into the far left lane and go 8 blocks to NE Oregon Street.  Take a left and go 3 blocks to 7^th Avenue.  The Portland State Office Building is immediately on the right with an adjacent metered parking lot.
