Operator Certification

2008 Online Renewal Instructions—Please Read Carefully!

Drinking water operators may now renew their operator certification online and make payment electronically!    This online process is for individual renewal and credit card payment using Mastercard or Visa only.  When you renew on-line, no signature is required.  For those of you who do not wish to pay online, you can continue to mail the renewal application, check and CEUs (if scheduled) to the Department.

S       Please have your Mastercard or Visa ready to pay on-line.

S       Please have your renewal letter handy.

To register online, you will need your individual/personal PIN# and your operator certification number. 

When you register you must enter your PIN# assigned, (found on the back of your renewal form) and your operator certification number.  The certification number should be entered as D-1234 or T-1234 as appropriate.  DO NOT FORGET THE DASH.   Once you have registered, you may change your log-in and password.  For those of you who hold two certificates, each certificate must be renewed and paid separately.  After renewing one, you’ll be redirected to renew the second certificate.  If your credit card payment is declined by the system you must renew by mail and make payment by check as you have in the past. 

CEUs

Please note: Even if you are renewing online, you must also mail or fax a copy of your continuing education units (CEUs) to the Drinking Water Program.  2 CEUs are scheduled every 2 years based on your last name.  If your last name begins with A-K you are required to submit copies of CEU certificates every even year.  If your last name begins with L-Z you are required to submit copies of CEU certificates every odd year.  Please read your renewal letter for detailed mail and/or fax instructions.

You may also update change of address or telephone number without having to call the Operator Certification Program.  You may update new information any time of the year! This makes it very important to keep your log-in and password in a secure place.  The instructions in using MyLicense are on each screen letting you know the next step.
