Lower Bridge Mine Health Consultation - final version - completed
mine building
Oregon state health officials have finalized a report on the Lower Bridge Mine in Deschutes County. The report recommends that site owners work closely with EHAP to develop a comprehensive environmental sampling plan that would provide evidence that the health and safety of future residents would not be at risk. The site was re-zoned to rural residential in December 2008, on the condition that additional sampling results in a "no apparent health hazard" designation from EHAP.
