Trainsong Neighborhood Vapor Intrusion Report Finalized
Trainsong

EHAP has completed a Health Consultation that examined data from a Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) study. DEQ & EHAP were concerned that volatile organic chemical vapors might be moving from contaminated groundwater, into the indoor air of homes located near the Union Pacific railyard in NW Eugene's Trainsong neighborhood. EHAP's report concludes that the indoor air of the nine homes in the study is not being affected by chemical vapors.
