Recertification is in full bloom and many of you are wondering "where is my certificate?" We are processing approximately 9000 applications and there are many steps that go into the process before you get your certificate. To check statuses of a certificate please click on the link below. If it shows that it is in process it could mean many things such as we are waiting on results of criminal backgrounds, a piece of the application has not been received or processed, or an investigation is being conducted.

If an investigation is opened to gather more information about a criminal record and the investigation will last longer then June 30, 2009 then that individual will be issued an extension on their certification until findings and case disposition has been disclosed.

The list will be updated twice a week, if the Department needs more information or if a piece of the application is missing we will contact you. Please remember that staff is very busy processing certifications and time spent answering phone calls takes away from the production time of issuing certifications.
