Immunization Law for Schools/Children's Facilities
Oregon School Immunization
Shots are required by law for children in attendance at public and private schools, preschools, childcare facilities, and Head Start programs in Oregon. Nearly every place that provides care for a child outside the home requires shots or a religious or medical exemption to stay enrolled.
Temporary Suspension of Hib Immunization Requirements
Due to continuing supply limitations of Haemophilus Influenza (Hib) vaccine, the Hib school requirement in children's facilities is being suspended for school year 2009-2010.
