- LINN COUNTY - PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE - Linn County Department of Health Services - Albany, OR
This position will work in the Maternal Child Health Home Visit program. Primary responsibilities include: family, maternal/child health screening and assessments, case management targeted to positive outcomes of pregnant women, infants and young children, health promotion and disease prevention education, community outreach on maternal/child topics and collaboration with local agencies to improve the health of families in Linn county.
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of the practice of public health nursing with an emphasis in maternal child health home visiting; two years current public health nursing experience; English/Spanish bilingual/bicultural desired. A current Oregon Registered Nurse License is required at the time of appointment. Also at the time of appointment, must possess a valid Oregon driver's license and good driving record.
SALARY: This is an 80% position (30 hours/week) with benefits. The full time pay range is $3519-$4492/month.

MARION COUNTY CORRECTIONS NURSE - MARION COUNTY CORRECTIONS FACILITY Marion County-Salem, OR
The Corrections Nurse serves as a professional nurse in the Marion County Corrections Facility, performing a variety of nursing duties. This position exercises considerable independent judgment in all aspects of the medical program; performs physical examinations of inmates, treats or refers them appropriately and dispenses or provides for dispensing of medications under the direction of a licensed physician.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; OR any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position. Candidate must also possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon and possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
SALARY: Starting salary $30.55/hr.

MARION COUNTY - Geriatric Enhanced Care Service - Mental Health Specialist 2 - Marion County Health Department, Salem, OR (Job Number: 554-289)
Determines treatment needs; completes initial mental health assessments; develops individualized treatment, behavioral support and crisis plans; updates plans as indicated and according to Administrative Regulations. Reviews, copies and distributes patient packets for treatment team discussion; completes and submits referral outcome forms to State of Oregon, referring social workers and supervisors. Provides geriatric mental health services to residents in the Enchanced Care Unit at Providence Benedictine Nursing Care; receives inquiries on potential clients and coordinates admissions with various agencies and facilities; performs onsite screenings and evaluations at a variety of locations and settings.

TILLAMOOK COUNTY - NURSE PRACTITIONER or PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - Tillamook County Health Department - Tillamook, Oregon
This position provides holistic care to a diverse population of patients in a primary care clinic. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible and accountable for managing a broad range of personal health services which may include assessing and diagnosing problems; developing a plan; recommending, evaluating and/or providing treatment, education, consultation and referral; and advocating for the patient.
QUALIFICATIONS (Nurse Practitioner) - Must possess a valid Oregon Registered Nurse license, a Master's Degree in Nursing, having graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Must have a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license to prescribe medications. Family Nurse Practitioner preferred. (Physician Assistant) - Must possess a valid Oregon Board of Medical Examiner Physician Assistant license. Must have a Bachelors Degree and have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Must have passed the examination given by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Must meet all requirements of OAR 847-050-0041 to prescribe medications. The ability to read, speak, and write both Spanish and English is preferred but not required.

This position provides comprehensive nursing services to individuals, families, and communities in the area of health promotion and illness treatment and prevention. The Registered Nurse 3 regularly performs work independently with no supervisory nurse, nurse practitioner, or medical doctor on the premises.
