Publications on Youth Sexual Health
The Rational Enquirer
A publication for youth, youth service providers and educators.
The Rational Enquirer is a youth-focused publication on issues of sexual health. The Office of Family Health partners with the Oregon Teen Pregnancy Task Force to produce this annual publication.
Oregon Youth Sexual Health Plan
Coordinated by the statewide Teen Pregnancy Prevention/Sexual Health Partnership (TPP/SHP) - a coalition of state, county and community advocates and non-profit organizations .
The Oregon Youth Sexual Health Plan is designed so that each community, agency or group can approach youth sexual health in a manner that is relevant to its setting and circumstances.
The Plan was created using best practice information, health research and youth and community input.
Through implementation of the Plan, these goals should be reached:
- Youth use accurate information and well-developed skills to make thoughtful choices about relationships and sexual health.
- Rates of unintended pregnancies are reduced.
- Rates of sexually transmitted infection are reduced.
- Non-consensual sexual behaviors are reduced.
- Sexual health inequities are eliminated.
